Are you using any of the social networks to communicate with your USMLE peers?

Please answer in the comments to this post.
Your opinion is very important for me.

Not yet. From your experience, have you seen the value? I mean not face-to-face group but something involving asynchronous communication... It may depend on learning types though...

No I don't, but I would totally join one!

A.M - I think the value is in finding the peer with similar learning style and trying to work together to learn faster

from my current experience, social networking has been n will continue to be very helpful. it takes time in the beginning to find ppl who are truely helpful, i dnt think any of my old friends wud help me out as much as my online friends did.

I have been paricipating in some social networking of Archer USMLE reviews. They can be followed on facebook, linkedin and twitter. You get to meet a lot of people and exchange stuff.

Archer CCS Workshop and reviews is an excellent course for Usmle step 3. I am not sure if they have step 1 but they have step 2 as well. but you can follow them on facebook where you can find 200 other people preparing for USMLE. You can also use "twitter" and follow "usmlegalaxy". They are big in social networking and give prompt responses.
