Anyone can fail... so do not think that world is ended the day you failed exam. Do not focus on your failure... try to think about positive things, socialize with friends and start planning for success in your next resit.
If you fail any part of the USMLE 3 times, there are 13 states in the US that will never allow you to practice medicine within their jurisdiction.

Maryland is one of those
All Maryland applicants are allowed four (4) attempts to pass each USMLE
Step exams. Applicants who have failed Step 1 and/or Step 2 three times must complete one
year of accredited clinical postgraduate training prior to sitting Step 3. Applicants who fail Step
3 three times must complete an additional year of accredited clinical postgraduate training prior
to sitting Step 3 for a fourth time. Applicants who fail any USMLE Step four or more times
are not eligible to sit Step 3 for Maryland.
